A small selection of my best leatherwork. I'm a self taught leathercrafter, specialising in hand embossing and dyeing leather. I love creating fantastical works of functional art inspired by literature, film, everyday life and the absurd.

Inspired by the game Animal Crossing. Custom made to order, hand crafted using vegetable tanned leather. Wet formed leaf designs impressed in to the leather, then hand dyed with leather dyes or acrylics. Stitched entirely by hand.

Hand cut, tooled and stitched leather satchel with a bamboo handle. Hand tooled with a bamboo leaf design. Finished with a magnetic clasp. 

Wet formed, vegetable tanned leather satchel featuring hand tooled leaves, inspired by Lord of the Rings. 

Hand embossed emblem with cut fire motifs. Finished with belt loops and traditional copper riveting. ​​​​​​​

Custom made pet portraits carved in to vegetable tanned leather, then painted and stitched by hand. 

Wet formed using a custom made mould to precisely fit a Nintendo Switch first generation. I carved designs inspired the Zelda and Animal Crossing Nintendo games and painted them all by hand. Finished with traditional copper as well as brass rivets and studs with two securing straps. Lined with lush suede and compartments for game and cable storage.
